About RADIOWAVES
RADIOWAVES is a Canadian online station that pulls from funk, oldies, pop, and rock, streaming free at 192 kbps MP3 through its website at marcofantasia.eu/radiowaves.
The mix is fairly wide. Funk and oldies sit alongside mainstream pop and rock, which means the playlist can shift from a 70s groove to a classic rock cut without much warning. That kind of range suits background listening as much as it does active tuning in.
There is no broadcast frequency here, just the stream. The station’s web presence is hosted under a.eu domain, which is an unusual choice for a Canadian operation, but the stream itself is there and open. Programming details and who runs the day-to-day are not publicly listed, so this is one to judge by the music rather than the biography.
